1. I could do basic math in my head and solve basic math operations quickly.

2. I liked using tools in math, such as blocks or counters.

I struggled with memorizing math facts, this also lead to multi-step math problem struggles, which required more time to complete the process.

1. I think of mistakes in math as a way to grow and encourage students to view it the same.

2. Students working with peers is key and having discussions on math ideas to help build understanding.

I work hard to build math facts to create confidence in lower and higher math concepts so I can properly model a strong mindset in math.
